Marks & Spencer selected INDG to deploy a multi-channel retail solution for their home furniture category. The aim was to create a whole new shopping experience platform ranging from online to offline and instore, offering inspiration combined with personalization and purchasing products.
The interaction concept investigates in different methods how to deal with browsing, adding, moving of furniture in 3D space. The desired method should be user-friendly, easy and intuitive, while feasible for implementation on touch-based as well as mouse-controlled devices.

Development of Design Language
The design language was developed together with Momkai at the beginning of the project. The hexagon shape was defined as an icon that stands for the idea of 3D space, it's a two-dimensional shape, it works as grid and as a house.
